Join us for a composting workshop with Mario Doiron at the Multipurpose Centre!

The purpose of this workshop is to introduce the principles of composting. Participants will learn to distinguish between compostable and non-compostable organic waste. The steps involved in the composting process will be explained in detail, to help them understand the importance of aeration, humidity and the balance between nitrogenous and carbonaceous matter. Participants will learn how to turn and maintain their compost to ensure an efficient process and deal with common problems.
Participate in Earth Day activities for a chance to win a compost barrel. The draw will take place on April 22.
