Two artists, Danny Boudreau and Jocelyne Baribeau, have developed an album and show concept that brings together two regions of Canada: Acadia and the Prairies.
It is well known that people from the east have been moving, now for a few generations, to work in the west. They bring with them their stories, their music, their "joie de vivre". Western francophones are happy to welcome their eastern cousins and share with them their adventures and the sound that comes with the great outdoors. Beauséjour released their first album in October 2019 as part of the celebrations organized by Culture Country. A few days later, they hit the road for a series of shows that brought them to Acadia, Ontario, Yukon, Alberta, Saskatchewan as well as Manitoba. The Beauséjour group, nominated 13 times and winner of 2 Willie - Gala country awards, does not deviate from its target, the "good old country". This pan-Canadian duo's objective is to give the public a desire to rediscover this repertoire rooted in our memories.
