"Friday jazz" with the group Les Improbables has become a not-to-be-missed event in the Moncton area of Acadia. Every Friday for the past 10 years, Les Improbables have been delighting music lovers with their unique style by presenting a repertoire of instrumental music composed mostly of original pieces but also offering their reworked versions of popular songs and pieces from the more traditional jazz repertoire. The members of the group are : Brian Coughlan on saxophone; Denis Surette on guitar; Glen Deveau on vibraphone and percussion; Steven Haché on bass and Charles Goguen on drums. In 2015, the band released, to the delight of their fans, a first album entitled La Comtesse de Santiago featuring 10 of their original compositions. Due to the pandemic, Jazz Fridays have been put on hold and after almost 2 years of absence, the band members can finally reconnect with their fans and friends.
