The annual Beach Sweep event, organized by the Shediac Bay Watershed Association in partnership with the Shediac Bay Yacht Club (Marina), will be held on Saturday morning, June 12 from 9:00 to 12:00. Volunteers are invited to meet us at the Yacht Club (168 Pleasant Street, Shediac) starting at 9:00 am. We will provide gloves and garbage bags and we will indicate areas along the coast to clean up.
There will be participation prizes to be won. This event will be held in accordance with Covid-19 health guidelines. Please wear a mask.
In 2019, the Shediac Bay Yacht Club received the Blue Flag designation for their commitment to protecting the environment.
