It is a ten-minute walk from our home to the seashore, and downtown Shediac, a charming little town small that offers numerous activities and attractions during the day and evening, is located two kilometres away.
We specialize in processing cold water Atlantic lobster products. Visit our fish market to purchase local lobster. Our market offers a wide variety of fresh and frozen lobster products. Fresh lobster cooked daily! The third-generation canteen opened in 1952 and is family-owned/operated. Please note this is a fish market and product is take out only.
This museum has a dual mission: pay tribute to this remarkable figure who was Senator Pascal Poirier (1852 -1933) and ensure the upkeep of this typical Acadian house. The house was the birthplace and childhood home of Pascal Poirier, prominent leader and Acadian author who became, in 1885, the first Acadian to be appointed to the Canadian Senate. Built around 1825, this house is likely the oldest house in Shediac.
